Chris Carey

General Manager & SVP of Product, Calm Health

Chris Carey is an experienced leader in product development passionate about building amazing teams striving to create healthcare and financial services tools to make the systems work for everyone. Chris has spent the last two decades honing his skills in product development to find solutions to problems faced by consumers. As the GM and SVP of Product at Calm Health, Chris is focused on creating a platform for the world’s most trusted healthcare solutions by building and investing in simple, innovative solutions that address all dimensions of health.

In 2015, Chris joined Rally Health as the Chief Product Officer and created a new product line that grew to be the company’s largest P&L in just five years. From 2012 through 2014, as the Director of Online and Mobile Strategy at Blue Shield of California, Chris was responsible for leading a team of product managers to develop multi-channel strategies for member, employer, broker and provider portals. Chris and his team launched Blue Shield’s first mobile web and mobile app experiences, receiving the annual “Mission and Values” award because of his efforts, voted on by the executive leadership team.

Yusra Benhalim, M.D.

Senior National Medical Director, Whole Health Solutions

Yusra Benhalim, M.D., serves as a Senior National Medical Director within Whole Health Solutions. In this capacity, she works to enhance clinically informed, human centered solutions to support people across a full spectrum of needs, from prevention through crisis.  She is focused on helping individuals and families connect with solutions that improve their wellbeing and health outcomes. Dr. Benhalim draws on her experience as a triple board-certified psychiatrist in adult, child & adolescent, and addiction psychiatry.  She brings a clinical lens to the development and enrichment of digitally guided navigation experiences, mental health support tools, and health education.

Dr. Benhalim completed her medical school training at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and her psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Prior to joining Optum she partnered with pediatric care providers within a collaborative care model offering both physical and behavioral health care treatment services. She also engaged in tele-healthcare services for families and children. Her special interests include preventative, whole-person centered care. She is passionate about supporting greater equity and access to care for all patients.
