Research has shown that Black Americans face mental health challenges, such as feelings of emotional distress, at greater rates than their white counterparts. Yet, due to barriers to access, biases in healthcare settings, and cultural stigmas, many Black adults do not receive the mental health care they need. It’s vital that we support the well-being of those within this community, which is why Calm Health has created mental health resources rooted in the Black experience.
